    :wave Hi!

Very weird...after downloading and running the latest MBAM update/sytem rebooted and this pop-in remains for 1 minute then collapses.(screenie attached). This happens on every boot-up.

Overall - browser speed has increased after running the tools - but another IE icon has appeared on my desktop; but is not shown when I navigate to my Desktop folder through Windows Explorer. :confused

I appreciate you reviewing my logs!
*Screen capture and first set of logs attached.

    ;)
AVAST issue is resolved but please still review my logs and possibly explain the issue of the new IE - sent to the Recycle Bin.....

Avast free subscription is for a year ( or is it 9 months??) ..so you have to renew by going to the web site and getting a new key.

Give me a bit to look at your logs ...and if you have two IE icons...right click each\ properties \ find target ...if both go to same file, delete one.

Errr. nothing out of the ordinary that I see there... moving on to those .dll's for review.

    * That IE icon I sent to the Recycle Bin is not shown there....didn't run Ccleaner after deleting.....

It's dinner time so I will let you off the hook, Doc.

    Your logs are clean.

    Now lets clean up:

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

If you get a success message, then it is time to do our final steps:
