I am tired of paying huge amounts of money on printer ink! I would like
some recommendations on where I should shop online to find great deals on
    cartridges. Thanks!

I just take them to a local shop who refill them.

Costs half the price of new ones;)

I refill my own, have for years.:) I can get a refill kit for about $25. (color & black ink included) and fill my cartridges 6 - 7 times vs $56 for one set of new cartridges.

I have purchased through 2 different online merchants with no problems at all. Unfortunately, I can't give you links to the ones I used right now as the links are on my other computer which won't be put back together until next week. If it's any help at all, I found the ones I dealt with via google and then checked customer reviews and the BBB to make sure I was dealing with a decent merchant.

Seem I never have the refillable kind.
I have used cheaper cartridges I bought on line (there are lots) but have not found them to be as good or last as long.

    What kind of printer?

Some of them now will not accept a cartridge after XX months.

That means some of the printer ink cartridges have a chip with a little digital 'expiration date' in it. When the ink 'expires' the printer will not print with it.

Printer companies make more off the ink than they do most printers. So just to show you how important you are to them, they want to make sure you only print with nice fresh expensive ink. :-D

I used to use them a few years ago, I think I got my ink for like $5/cartridge. It's probably a little more now, but they were great

If you really want to get your blood pressure up, compare the cost of ink verses gas...
