New bike

    Well... I sold my Deuce from last year and bought a V-Rod Muscle that just came into the dealership. Sold my old one for what I paid for it, otherwise it might not have been possible. I am having so much fun riding it right now, though I need to replace the exhaust as its waaaaay too quiet. Will try and post some pics next week once the exhaust is on! Mine is black, but heres some images from the web:

    Its good, I have not done anything to it except drive it so far, happy with it as is right now. Really enjoy it a lot!

    No pull , I had a 2003 don't recall a pull to the right. They fixed a lot, holds 5 gallons of gas, seats more comfy, etc. Got the new exhaust one, have to take some pics.

    hi, its just the big wheel ones with the pull on them
    hard to lean into right hand bends, until you reach a certain point then they just drop
    the little wheel vrods and street rods didnt suffer with that
    i think its a rear wheel spacing issue
    but glad to hear theyve sorted it, not had chance to ride the muscle yet

    Man, I want it back, now its cold. Stage 1 kit is on with the V&H exhaust. Bummer. Pics when the snow melts :(

    Fueller? Im thinking your across the pond, we might be thinking of a replacement CPU which we call a tuner, in which case I think they used Screaming Eagle tuner and filter. I let my dealer decide, one of the techs is well versed at tweaking the Vrods, so I follow his lead.

    yeah, i work for hd here in uk
    there are ecm updates for performance, or as u have mentioned, the s/e ecm, but there are also additional fuellers which connect to your injectors and 02 sensors
    power commander/dynojet, kitech, powerpro etc
    all of them have good results
    was just wondering what they are using over there
    ;)

    We use Screaming Eagle and I have seen them use Power Commander in some of my bikes. Ive heard of all the others and the dealer uses them, but not as often, must be custome request. Ill check your problem for you.

    nice one thanx
    were mostly using kitech over here, plugs str8 onto the injectors, good power gains etc
    makes the vrod go like it should
    well worth the time and money
