It's not orange... what did I tell you? I'm STILL more country than you are and you need to catch up! So that car either needs to be dukes of hazard painted or up on cinder blocks... Hop to it.

No i'm more country because i know the Orange belongs on a Dodge Charger R/T and not a GM Product. Its a GM product so it belongs on cinder blocks tho ;):-D
I took this when i was in Texas.:-D

Maybe what year was it? i really think its just the 80's models that had them problems.

It was a1980 model and the only problem i had was leaving it unattended, twice i had someone drag a key or knife along the side of it.

and for sure you needed deep pockets for fuel it did 8mpg (the manual said 12 but i never got that) and if you drove it hard that went down to 5 it had two 25 gallon tanks (one in each rear wing)

That must be one of the last,i don't remember exactly when they stopped them.

i would love to have another they are fantastic auto's (well i think so) but with gas over 6$ over here and i can no longer write it off against my taxes there is no way i could afford one.:cry

Heres a list of stuff with it.

    Installed
    New Battery 7-2008
    New Pads\Rotors 6-2008
    New tires 8-2008
    Wheels coated & Polished 7-2008
    Dash\Gauge Bezal 7-2008
    Gauges 7-2008
    Fluids Changed 6-2008
    Gaskets 6-2008
    Cables 6-2008
New Trans Am Dash Pouch 7-2008
House Of Kolor K2 Primer Sealer
Ttop Bag From Another Trans Am
    New Locks & keys
    New Head Liner
    New Shifter Plate
    new head light motors
    all new lights
    Pioneer Cd player
    New Scoche Mounting Kit
    New Scoche Wiring Harness
    New Scoche Antenna Adaptor

and i think theres gonna be more but not really sure. That for a Old 1991 Ford Explorer 4X4 4.0L? yet theres nothing wrong with the Explorer it runs up and down the road no problem its 18years old and never had a thing wrong with the motor and still runs like its brand new fires right up can't beat it. just tore leather seats in the front the fuel sending unit needs a new float and the gauge would work and 3 out of 4 windows won't go down. They need the little pegs in the window motors. and thats all thats wrong with it.

    And people say i am stuck in the 80's why? just because i like 80's shows best and i own a 1986 Honda 125M ATC 3-wheeler, a 1980 Honda XR80 dirt bike, a 1986 Isuzu P'UP Spacecab LS 2.3L 4banger and now getting a 1984 Trans-Am 5.7L 350 V8. lol I did also own a 1983 Kawasaki KLT200 upgraded 3-wheeler but traded it for the Charger and i also owned a 1980 Honda XR75 but it went to the scrap yard and also 2 1985 Honda 110ATC 3-wheelers and a 1988 Lincoln Continental Sig series 3.8L V6 before the P'UP.

we got the ford explore here in oz you can pick em up a dime a dozen not to good at holding there value i thought about buying one about 10 years ago but i brought a nissan patrol instead luckily as i found out that the explorer likes to roll over and play dead if you take the corners to fast do the have this problem where you are

Yea there everywhere but most people don't take care of them or the tires blow up causing a roll over but this one has been taken care of for the 12years that we have had it.

BTW: they only tend to roll over if someone who does not know how to drive a SUV or Truck gets behind the wheel and treats it like a sports car ;)

yeah i see alot of people here that beef up the suspension so that they are like 6 feet of the road and then put chunky off road tiers on them and expect them to handle like a Ferrari me on the other hand have only had the one accident in my 27 year driving history 3 year driving apc in the army and almost 10 years driving buses in Sydney
