Account Removal-

I would appreciate it if someone could either a) delete my account or b) tell me how I can do it myself. I've checked through the User CP multiple times and see no options for it, and I would appreciate it being deleted. Thank you.

I've done Google searches for my past screen names, emails, and my real name to see what pops up. I've tidied up a bit by deleting accounts before, even ones that I haven't used in years. I think the OP is doing just that.

To answer the original question, is that even possible? I know the Mods can freeze an account but CAN they delete it entirely or will it still exist in such a way that the name is reserved and unavailable? And even if they did it doesn't hold any personal information and noone has ever contacted the person... it's just a ghost account.

Yeh it's possible, just delete it from the database.
Big job considering the size of these forums and the amount of members though!

 

Users can be deleted thru the Admin Control Panel. Any existing posts will be converted to "Guest", unless they are first pruned before the deletion. New registrants can be prevented from using the nick by entering it in the Illegal User Names option of the Admin CP.

Those have to all be posts from musksnipe bots. LOL
I have only ever had 3 screen names. One is ????musk and the other ???snipe. That is how musksnipe was born. And I have been using that for at least 4 years.
And yeah I have registered in quite a few places. But they're all legit ones you found.
