I have a new toy. It will live in my gym bag, and occasionally be connected to my computer for syncing and charging. 2GB of beautiful red sound goodness. :drool

Nice new toy Mims :) What did it ever do to be forced in to a lifetime with the sweaty socks though :-D

I was going to just use my old player, but it has a hard drive, which literally skip when I run on a treadmill. Not good.

What this one did: Flash storage, dedicated volume control, and clip that can attach it to my t-short. :)

Skipping when running can cause you to fall over ;) I have an iPod I use in the gym that I dropped a 20 kilo weight on one end - the charging end. So far it still works but it's a little difficult to get the cable in and out now.

I'm probably going to buy a 4 or 8 GB card for my phone which is a radio and MP3 in one. In fact I have two of the Sony Walkman w580i's now.....long story....might sell one. They are very nice phones.

    Nice Mims...

It looks like an ipod. (I don't know if that's a bad thing to say since the website is 'anythingbutanipod.com', but....)LOL

Do you use itunes? Is it compatible?

Those are nice, Mims. My wife has one.
If she would only put something other than Country on it, I would borrow it. LOL

The idea with the website is to show people that there are alternatives to iPods. It has a handy comparison feature if you want to see the differences between the Clip and the iPod Nano

And yes, it is iTunes compatible, though not with Apple's proprietary file format. I use MediaMonkey and never buy from iTunes though, so that's not a problem. :)

Just listen to the radio on it. I already have my favorite stations programmed into the Preset list.

I can't stand commercial radio, anymore. Besides, I have my own MP3 player with way better music, even if it isn't as fancy. :-D

I have a 4 GIG Sansa e260 with 4 GIG card. I use Rockbox, but see nothing yet available for v2 or Clip yet.

I throw the RSS into a iGoogle Gadget and DownThemAll to save the files.

Or use Amarok to subscribe to podcasts and copy those to the player.

    Way cool Mimsy!
