malware probs??...my comp is very slow

    I'm so lost!! Am I even doing this rite? I suck with computers :( it took me so long to even find this page. If I'm in the wrong place please, can some one redirect me in the correct direction?

    My computer has been incredibily slow these past few weeks. When I try to play music, it lags and plays in slow mo. I can't even open my firefox browser. When my computer starts up, it's slow...and this windows installer keeps poping up as well as some error warnings. I've tried to clean my C drive and clear up my documents and uninstalled programs I don't use anymore. Also I ran a couple of scans from ad adware by lavasoft, avg antivirus, mcafee, malwarebytes, stopzilla (I heard this is bad...after I did it) and spybot S&D and all seems well...but why is my computer still slow?

    I've completed the "READ & RUN ME FIRST before asking for support" thing (forum?)...well that instruction page. I'm still experiencing slowness... here are the logs files that are required for posting...

    Your problems are not malware related....part of your slowness is all the things you have running at startup....and that you only have 512 mgs of ram.

    We can remove some items, but then I suggest you post in the software forum and use a Startup Manager.

    Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    You also need to uninstall:
    Ad-aware ---> it has become virtually useless.
    Viewpoint ----> as instructed in the Read and Run First.
