Combofix. To use or not to use

I have seen some conflicting reports from users on this program, for some it worked and for others it crashed their system. I have used it once before and it got rid of the virus (so I thought) but the damn trojan clicker is back. Keep in mind I do not really understand the workings of the program itself. Anyways, I am in the process of following the steps in the read and run section of the malware removal forum which states that combofix should be run. My computer has been performing badly before and after the virus infection. Very Slow start up and performance. I am worried combofix will cause my computer to crash.

Combofix is known by our Authorized Malware Fighters to have a few issues from time to time. They are very used to the possibility of this and can also assist you in correcting anything that Combofix may erroneously do, to enable the restoration of your computer. If at any time the Authorized Malware Fighters thought that Combofix was too risky to use, you can rest assured they would pull it from the Read & Run link that you are already working through

I have only had to use ComboFox maybe 3 or 4 times, and each time it (and MGTools) worked perfectly, without any issues. I was actually VERY impressed with it as it fixed some malware problems that I had been fighting for hours....
