    oh, sorry, it seems that the emails that had my IQ score were being sent to my junk folder

    than what is the $10 for?? oh well...

    I'm not sure what the purpose of IQ tests are.:confused Do they indicate anything other than education? They seem like they would be more for a purpose of pigeon holing someone into some sort of expectation of what they can or can not accomplish.

    z, I think it also has a huge amount to do with age. I'd say getting 100 at your age will probably mean that will be significantly higher when you are older.

    IQ doesn't really mean anything except an artificial score on a test.
    Any IQ test can be skewed for the result that the test giver wants to achieve.
    Being able to reason out a problem or course of action with few clues is more important than sheer remembering of facts.
    I've known some brilliant people who couldn't "pour **** out of a boot with the instructions on the heel".
    Common sense and people skills are just as important in most day to day situations.
    Sheer brilliance does have it's place in the world though. (Just have to tell them to breathe every now and then. ;))

    Although I would dispute the importance of them or whether they are actually meaningful, I have gotten around the same score on any of the different ones I've taken. So, in my experience, they are pretty standard.
