NEED HELP TO GET ON conquer online 2.0 :(

just before i start... im not the brightest of people so please dont laugh at me.

i got my laptop ( Advent 7109B ) reformatted. i think i need to install drivers for it or somthing.... i successfully found and installed the right driver for my sound ( took me 3 hours but yay:-D)

i downloaded and installed the game but i get an error saying:

" the game cannot be started. this problem might b related to your version of Direct 3D, it is suggested that you re install the graphics driver."

i havnt a clue what it means... i ran a diagnostic thing and under the notes it says:

"-The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

-Direct3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manufacturer."

sorry for being so stupid but i need help... if that isnt enough info for u to help me out... tell me what u need to know and ill tell you

if its somthing about drivers can u tell me what 1 i need and possibly link me to it? :confused

 

Looking at your specifications your laptop has
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900
graphics card.
Well try updating the chipset driver and VGA driver

Try that if not come back with your findings.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I could not find the minimum system specifications (the things inside your computer) for the game to work.
It could possibly be that your computer is not powerful enough to run the game properly resulting in these errors but update anyway and tell us what happened!

Lol conquer, i used to play that. Unless you play it already, i think its being overplayed. They dont ever update it and too many high levels sit out and just kill people trying to start. I know because i used to do it too. lol:major

 

yer soon after i got it working again i quit ( 2RB 130 tro - 130 war - 125 water ) an a few other accs... they braught out an update that just ****ED the whole game up.... so yea theyve lost allot of customers and players.

 

i need help to get on conquer aswell, i tried to run the ''AutoPatch.exe" file and i got this error message: ''the game can not be started. The problem might be related to your version of Direct3d. It is suggested that yo reinstall the graphics driver. You can click 'ok' to run the direct X diagnostics for details'' i've tried installing a new direct X driver and it doesnt seem to have had any affect. if u could help i'd be very greatful ;]
