    I felt a bit daft starting a thread...but I didn't want to hijack KIM's "seasons greetings thread" either...so here I am....I was all for being a 'scrooge' this year and saying "Bah Humbug!" To Christmas but I felt compelled to get the tree up and going ..nothing better than sitting with all the lights out except those of the tree ... :)

    Unfinished...but 10 points for effort so far.....? LOL

    And those strange orbs have been appearing in alot of my photographs lately...not sure if it's camera related or something spooky goin' on :-D

    That's one way of putting it LOL Looks a damn mess to me lol But that WAS the "before" pic...the "after" pic will look pretty tomorrow when the tree is fully dressed :-D

    Your orbs are feint water marks on the camera lens....clean your lens!!!

    We went for a Ducks colored theme this year, hence all the green and yellow (gold)

    ...Reminds me that my mission for the day is to resurrect my Christmas tree. The bad news, is that I have to find a home for a ton of 'puter stuff, (Someone suggested the dumpster outside - not going to happen!LOL ). The good news, is that my Christmas tree has been lying on the floor in back family room since last year :-o. Decorations went A.W.O.L. since two years back. I think I last saw them in my lockup shed, covered in dust, eh.

    [@ Kes:- I don't think I wanna know what that Unidentified thingy was. :eek:-D]

    it's those darm pine needles Mcad...I can't bear seeing them for months afterwards! they get EVERYWHERE :mad Now Lev did give me a tip about this....but we are battling now...so tips aside..let the treewarz commence! ...LOL

    So hows your work in progress coming along? will take piccy of ours when I locate a digital camera, have two in house and cannot locate eitherm knew I should not have tidyed up the other week, now cannot find loads of things.

    The gf is going to hunt for a small tree on the property, maximum of two feet high. Last time we did this we put it in a vase filled with water, a tsp of chlorinated powder and some sugar. It lasted quite well for a month with hardly any needle loss and a few changes of water. A decorated tree lifts my heart up even though it's small in comparison and nothing smells better than a real tree in the middle of winter.:) Mum used to stuff a pillow case with pine and spruce boughs and was on :cloud9 when she went to bed.

    I think Lev has defeated me....let's see....(this was a rush job BTW);) I HATE the way the wires are all showing but I haven't had chance to "spruce " it up..lol No frills...this is it in all its glory

    I feel quite utterly deflated over the whole thing...as all my best tree ornaments are in amogst a cupboard...or the loft...or the shed....rolleyes

    We both know I am a basket case Lev!;)

    Honestly, that is my 'tree'. When the holiday is over, I just toss it in the closet. Fire it up most nights this time of year to be f'ing festive. :-D

    I am just a bundle of Christmas joy! :-D
