I like to think I keep a pretty clean Registry. After all I run various cleanup programs after each Net session. :confused

    I came across RegistryBooster2 today at http://www.liutilities.com/products...r|1342271348&gclid=CKKs_rCYu5MCFSQbagodB1YBCw

I ran the trial version and it found lots (222) of errors that all my other PC housekeeping programs missed. :cry :(

    See thumbnails.

I'd like other MG'ers opinions before purchasing it.
    Thanks, bazza.

Anyone else give the trial version a test?
What were your results compared with your normal PC hosekeeping programs that you run?

Anyone willing to give it a try?

    WiseRegistryCleaner3... Re: Any one using RegistryBooster2 ?

Normally use WiseRegistryCleaner3(free version) and dont normally have many problems after run ('fix' only the "safe to fix" items).

Once in a while get problem with Outlook finding the default 'mailbox.pst' file/s, but dont seem to have any other problems that know of (the key words being 'that I know of', since am never sure what most of the 'fixes' are really doing).

No experience with RB2, is it a new program ?

From what have heard (Majorgeeks, etc), WRC3 is about as safe as they come.

Guess will do some more checking on RB2.

Hopefully there will be more comment here !

PS: Some interesting RB2 'review comments' at...

...sounded mostly good, customer service being the exception if any.

I presonally wouldn't use it Bazza, or trust it. The only thing I use now is Ccleaner ...I used to use Wise Reg Cleaner but I no longer bother and just stick with CC

Just downloaded and tried CC (wasnt easy to figure out how to download from MG interface, but at least MG offers it so that must be worth something... went directly to http://www.ccleaner.com for download).
Doesnt seem to 'find' as many registry problems as WRC, but then that may just mean more problems after a WRC 'fix' :)
Guess will try CC some more and then maybe get to trying RB2 next year.

Thanks emms. I don't think I'll bother, I use CCleaner, Cleanup!, EmptyTemp Folders and Advanced Windows Care v2 nearly every day. They are all FREE. If RB2 had got great reviews I night have tried it. No need to pay for a program, though, with all the alternatives available here at MG. :major Bazza
