Riddle me this....

We've had jokes threads for as long as I can remember.. How about riddles?

Here's the classic "Lost Money" Riddle.

Three friends take a room for three in a hotel. Each one pays ten dollars
Later, the owner decides to make a rebate of five dollars to these people.
He calls an assistant and hand over to him five dollars to give this money to the men who had rented the room.
The assistant does not know how to divide five dollars between three people, and decides to keep 2 dollars for himself.
He gives one dollars to each man.
Therefore, each man paid only nine dollars for the room.

If 3 men paid $9.00 each one to rent a room ($9.00 X 3 = $27.00)
and the assistant keeps $2.00
($27.00 + $2.00 = $29.00) where is the remaining dollar?

 

crap, i remember this riddle too and its really easy, just dont remember the answer.

each person didnt pay 9, they paid 10. its what happened after the fact. the dude pocketed the 2 dollars.
30 - 5 = 25 they ended up paying 25 for the room. but the guy pocketed the 2 dollars. theres 27. dude gave 3 dollars to the guys. theres 30.

8,549,176,320 does in fact use all the numbbers 0-9 but thats not what makes it special.. so does 1,234,567,890

 

the answer is eleventeen.

i googled it and its pretty clever. i wont say the real answer though.
