I Can't Believe I Had A Dream About Malware!

I actually dreamed I had isolated a file infected with Virtumonde on my desktop and accidentally clicked on it wrong in attempting to delete it. Suddenly, in my dream, I had over 5,000 infected files on my machine.

I woke up in a cold sweat. rolleyes

Guess it's all the reports about the IE 7 zero-day problem (although I happily switched over to Firefox recently).

Don't forget, FF just issued 8 fixes too. LOL @ dreaming, I think I've had one dream on computers period in six years. .

 

I have had a dream a few times and in it my teeth are falling out:eek
Never one involving computers tho.

dude WW, i had a dream like that too a few times actually. my teeth were really really loose and about to fall out. it was weird.

Yeah, got 'em for Windows, still puzzling over getting 'em in my new Linux setup. FF was mighty quiet about those fixes.

did you find some good tile in your dream? the perfect tile perhaps? the kind of tile that just makes you want to lock yourself in your bathroom and sleep on said tile type of perfect?

i need to have one of those tile dreams. im remodeling my downstairs bathroom as well actually. trying to find some good tile/paint combo but its kinda hard.

 

i didnt know what a kestrel was so i googled it. pretty cool bird as far as birds go.

 

I've had loads of dreams about Malware,they all follow the same general theme.

I always arrive at the computer and there's a big blue and yellow box saying "You are infected with a Virus!" and nothing on the computer works,I restart the computer and the screen goes blank with the computer no longer working.

A year or so ago I was fixing a computer and it had a blue and yellow box saying "you have a virus!"

Freaked me the hell out:-D

I don't have dreams about malware as much as I have dreams about work.

I have a couple of bizarre dreams.

1) I'm in high school. Have exam's tomorrow and no preparation.

2) I'm in college. Exams coming up. Don't have the minimum attendance required to sit..

3) I'm climbing a precipitous mountain. Get stuck and can't move forward or back. Any move and I fall.
Wake up and thank the heavens, I'm not a student or on a mountain. Phew..

 

As messed up dreams go, I had one last night that I drank out of a glass of water without looking, and it had worm eggs in it. Thought they were going to hatch and I would have to go to the hospital.

 

I had a dream once that i press a some kind of physical "BROWSE" button and my point of view goes to a kind of panorama of my flat. (inspired by appearing window when you press "browse" for choosing the file in windows)
