    Hi Everyone
    My situation is that I have manuel tweaked my computer for a littlel extra speed using blackviper.com suggestions. I am not sure when it happen but my command line isn't working right. for example I go to the start button and then to the run button and type in a command like ipconfig in the window it just pop up on the screen for a spilt second and then disappears.There is some other command too that don't work either: when I get the window to open useing cmd.exe and I type in a command it tell me that the commands our not external or internal or don't recongize them. I am running XP pro sp 3
    I could use any advice on how to fix it or where to start. Please;;;
    Thanks Too.......Leroyjoe

    Have you tried Start-Run-cmd-Enter. That should bring up the cmd prompt. If I open Start-Run-ipconfig, I just get the box for a second.

    Yes, You need to use Start>Run>cmd to get the window to stay open. On the "not internal command" error I would suspect you have just gotten the syntax of the command wrong. Try using the /? switch after the command name to see what options are available for a given command. ie. Dir /? (will show you the syntax of the dir command--make sure you are using the correct / and have appropriate spaces between switches).
