Normally we would reply to you when you had come up in the quece....however, since you copied your log instead of following the Read and Run Instructions by attaching the logs, I will respond.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

You only have 10 minutes to edit your posts. :(

A word for the future, never use the same computer that you suspect is infected to change your passwords.

Now, Please use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3

Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Temp
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\izp

    Now download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file.

Hi Tim,wow,I did all you said, wasn't sure about the bold text you said,so I copied everything exactly, cannot delete those files, first I got the attached screen shot, the other one it appeared to delete, then the search results came up as"nothing".
Today I ran search and destroy for about for hours and it show more than 360,000 programs of every kind you could think of,I could not believe them, but Spy bot just appears to run past them, the things i saw, like templates for email, virus stopper's,etc.
Attached is the new MG log and the snap shot of the error,I did delete the old Java and installed the new one.
    Keep in touch:cry
P.S:These boogies have taken up all my memory.

Tim attached look how many iexplorer I have running?

Are you sure you are not confusing Spybots immunization files with "nasties"?

I am not seeing any malware on your system....and why where you reinstalling MBAM? And click what?

download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * Do not change any check box options!!
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

    * Now click the Execute button.
    * Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    * Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
    * Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

Now to try to put your mind at ease:

This procedure explains how to get to the BitDefender Online Scan sites and how to setup and perform an online scan. It also explains how to obtain a log so you can attach it to a message. You must use Internet Explorer to run this scan and make sure your Sun Java version it current. Get Sun Java here: Sun Java Runtime EnvironmentBefore installing the current version, you should uninstall all previous versions first!!!!

****NOTE**** DO NOT INSTALL Bitdefender's Antivirus program. Make sure you follow the directions below and run the ONLINE SCANNER only.

To start the online scan go here: Bitdefender

    • Agree to the license and then select Scan.
      • DO NOT CHANGE THE OPTIONS TO SHOW ALL FILES SCANNED. That will make your logs huge and we don't need to see clean files.

    • Once Bitdefender completes the scan:
      • Click-on the Detected Problems tab. Then select Click here to export the scan report
      • When the window comes up to save the report, change the Save as type: box to Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt)
      • And then in the File name box enter bdscan then click save. This will save a file named bdscan.txt in whatever folder you are currently in when you save the file (take notice of where you are at so you can find it later). This bdcan.txt file will actually contain HTML code that we can easily view later while reviewing your log. All we have to do is rename the file to bdscan.html. If you do not follow these step, you will have an incorrect log or worse a log summary which is useless to us.

    • Post the bdscan.txt file as an ATTACHMENT. See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post
    • If you run BitDefender Online scan and have previously run PandaActive scan, the below false detection may be seen in BitDefender:

      C:\WINDOWS\system32\ActiveScan\pskahk.dll
      Infected with: Generic.Malware.SIMDWYNVdprn.D9407F4E

Are all those "things" flying by immunization files ????please tell
I reinstalled it because I thought it was rigged,as it was not finding anything.
It says"3 files fixed, click to o.k to confirm" is that normal?"
I did what you said, now will reboot
Gee Tim,that I would love to do,Im feeling pretty freaked out at the moment.
How is it I have i.e programs running all the time?is that normal? 6-7

I have no idea without seeing what you are referring to.

Our malware tool is rigged to try to trick you?

It could be, depending on how many IE windows you have running. You can test this by downloading a different browser and not using IE.

Are you doing what I asked you to do? I await the log from BitDefender -- which you must run using IE.

Re: This is the log of my infected computer.(hopefully not infected?

you are right I was petrified and thought all those files where running on my computer, completely freaked me out.Phew!
I thought "they had hijacked the EBay page together with the Mcafee site adviser and somehow taken control of MBAM,yea after seeing 379,000 Spy bots immunisation files flashing by,I thought I was toast!:-o
The The Avenger by Swandog469 gave the all clear,no such file exists.
What should I do with the quarantine files in MBAM?(attached?delete them or just keep them in there?
I'm waiting for your all clear Tim,boy what a learning curve I have been through these past two sleepless night!
    Thanks

You can leave the quarantined files where they are or just have the program delete them.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommed you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real time protection. They are useful as backup scanners. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.

      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)

    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    Old anti virus programs?

    Tim,
    could you advise.
I have the Avast free edition, with program files infected in their vault, also two months ago,my full kaspersky program came to an end,I have now bought another because I find them quite comprehensive.
Q#1:If I deleted that old kaspersky, did I release the viruses?
Q#2:When I install my new kaspersky, would I have to keep the Avast and disable it or what do I do with the infected program files in their vault?
    Cheers
    Leo

When you uninstall, you should be deleting your quarantine folders as well....so there is no problem with that --- the files will not be "release" back into your system.

You should never have more than one Anti-virus program.

If you are to install a paid for version of Kasperski, uninstall Avast. But frankly, I see no reason to purchase any software, esp. anti-virus programs.

Do you mean that when you go to start / run / and type "msconfig" (without quotes) nothing happens or do you get a message.

    Let's do this:

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure you get a success message and then see if you can access msconfig.
