buslink hardrive

    i have a buslink portable hardrive and i haven't used it in a while. i put a password on it and i forgot it. Does any1 have ideas how i can unlock it without erasing files. ASAP

    If its encryption you may not be able to get your data back.

    u mean if password is encrypted or the files.its just regular password nothing special. there is no type of password cracker or anything for it u think.

    The files may be encrypted and about a cracker it may take years to crack the encryption key.

    the files have no encryption on it i think. almost 99% sure. its not the files i cant get into its the hardrive i forgot the password. does that make a difference.
