    Helloooo..... :wave
This is my first thread in this forum.
i just formatted my pc. Then I installed all the drivers. Everything was going fine but when i tried to install the sound driver, nothing was possible. I tried to do everthing but nothing worked. Then after googling for my problem i found a similar thread in your forum and followed it. And EUREKA!, it worked.

Now i have a creative sound blaster audigy 5.1 speakers. I tried to install them but it says " no sound blaster device found ".

What to Do???? :cry :cry :cry

Note: (1) The speakers were working properly before formatting.
    (2) My sound card is of Realtek

additional info can be provided ..........

    Thank You

I understand what you are saying but there must be a reason all speakers are not working.
    I am still researching.

I'm confused now, maybe I need to read this for a 3rd time but why are you installing drivers for creative sound blaster speakers when his sound card is a realtek, Aren't speakers are usually plug and play? And if drivers are needed for 5.1 speakers shouldn't you update the realtek drivers to accommodate the upgrade?

Check your settings and see if they are set up for surround sound...The following link has a guide for configuring the settings for surround sound.

Verifying that you have surround sound(Surround/Quad/4.1/5.1/7.1) configured correctly.

    Now i understand.
I bought The creative sound blaster audigy sound Card and speakers.
but that was 1 year ago .
then i sold my CPU and baught a new one with a realtek onboard sound card and that's why the creative installer is not detecting the sound card device.

please tell me isn't there any way i can run my all 5 creative speakers in the realtek card only.
Otherwise also when i bought my new CPU and installed the realtek sound card, all of them worked .
    Pls Help

Lets start over, now that it has been established that you should not be using that creative sound blaster audigy cd for anything. take it out and place it in a cd case and put it on the shelf. Go to device manager come down to sound and right click on realtec, and delete the driver. run ccleaner and revo uninstaller and see if they locate anything from creative sound blaster audigy. reboot the computer windows should come with the found new hardware, let it look for the drivers and install them.
Now plug the speakers in and lets see what happens now.

I'm glad we finally got it working, for a while I was worried that it would never straighten itself out. sometimes you have to take a step back and start over.

Bill the part that had me lost was the installation of soundblaster drivers I read the post more than the 3 times i said i did and I couldn't understand why. I think that threw me off and I went another direction before I finally came back and realized that cd shouldn't be in play at all. I'm glad he got it going,:confused I couldn't see a reason for it not working.

Same here....Could not imagine why he would need drivers for a sound card he did not have installed...:)

    Glad you got it going...!
