virus scanner for Outlook pst files

I run Avast which identifies infections in about 50 email messages in 6 pst files for 3 users; however, the program cannot clean the viruses without loading each pst file in Outlook and then opening the infected messages.

I understand that if the messages are deleted outside of Outlook, the pst file will be corrupted. A program that could do that cleanly would be great. Is there a antivirus program that can scan all messages in the pst files within Outlook without having to actually opening the messages?

 

You will have to manually erase the infected emails from Outlook.
