What "Folder options" ?

Ok, where oh where did the "folder options" go?????

It ain't on this computer, not in safe mode (administrator) or Admin regular mode. I need to set to show all files so I can de-malware it. Dell Dim 5100 WinXP home, with SP3. Its not under tools, nor in control panel.

I have gone in as admin in safe mode. And through "start-run" Regedit and gpedit.msc are "disabled by administrator" How can this be if I am in as admin?

 

Well in safe mode I am going to see if I can save anymore (than the 8g's in 3 personal doc folders) and reformat the whole thing. Do you think the Dell CD has the drivers for the SATA that came in it?

 

In [safe mode/Admin] running ComboFix brought back my folder options (under tools). So now I can go back to Malware forum and get the other "dung" off this machine. I'll post the text file there.
