    Hi Major Geeks,

I've had a problem with malware for a long time now. I've managed to keep them "contained" but now it seems I've got a bit of a problem. Tuesday 20th Jan my computer started to having these freezeframe problems when I launched the following programs: iTunes, Media Player Classic and VLC Media Player. The problems started right after I updated my firewall, PC Tools Firewall Plus. I later posted a thread in your software forum stating these problems and explaining what I am explaining now. Buggabear linked me to this forum, which I am familiar with, telling me to take of my malware problem first.
My spyware removal, PC Tools Spyware Doctor, doesn't seem to be able to remove these problems, and I have the upgraded version with removal ability.

I'm pretty sure these freeze frames are related to malware and my updating of my Firewall.

I did these procedures a while ago with chaslang as my helper, and he didn't detect any malware on my computer, but PC Tools Spyware Doctor detects them every time I run the scan. I have taken every procaution which is written in your "How To Protect Yourself from Malware" guide.

I'll post the logs necessary and hope for a helper with a blessed computer touch.

    Sincerely,
    Berra_90

What malware problems are you referring to? Your logs are all clean other than the fact that I see you have been downloading cracks:
I suggest that you read this sticky:

Warning about Keygens, Cracks, and other Illegal Software

Unless you attach a log that shows us what Spyware Doctor thinks is malware, we cannot help you. Spyware Doctor is does have quite a few false detection issues. And from what I remember there logs are pretty poor since they are XML based.

Thank you Chaslang one again for your help. I also realise my logs appear to be clean, but when I run PC Tools Spyware Doctor it tells me that I have 1110 infections. That sounds a bit crazy, I know, however when I run PC Tools Antivirus, it shows no infections. Do you think I should switch Spyware program? If you do, do you have any personal recommendations?

What do you think the cause of my afformentioned problem is?

I did not manage to get a log from PC Tools Spyware Doctor. It didn't give me an option to do so.

    Thank You,
    Berra_90

As I previously stated. I need a log to offer any comments. Spyware Doctor has lots of problems with false positives. In addition, unless you tell me EXACTLY what it is reporting I will assume that it is just things like cookies (not a problem), MRUs (not a problem), things in quarantines (not a problem and you are can empty quarantines), things in System Volume Information (not a problem and you need to toggle System Restore to remove this old system restore points).

    SUPERAntiSpyware paid version!

Thee ability is there somewhere because other people have posted them, but bluntly put, its logs are terrible.
