I need Help on how to disable the DMZ

    I'm trying to download Microsoft 2007 Office on my Computer desktop and it will not process i keep getting a window that says to diable the DMZ off my Router, How do i do this?

    I've installed Office 7 on numerous computers and never got that message. Try something simple like disconnecting the router while you are installing it then after it's installed plug the router back up

    Download it from where? (or do you mean "install?") Unless it is a legal download from Microsoft or some other outlet (and if it isn't, be advised this site properly does not tolerate such things) it could be laden with trojans or viruses. What site is hosting the file?

    I have downloaded lots of stuff from this site and other freeware sites - files of all kinds, in fact - and I have never gotten any kind of pop-up that demands I alter my router settings - with the DMZ enabled or disabled, for that matter - and in the last 7 years I have used four different makes of router. Seems fishy (or phishy) to me, but perhaps you have an exotic configuration I am unfamilier with.
