Excel 2007 blanks out at the top.

Running Excel 2007 in compatability mode. Every so often, the user will have one of his workbooks with all the toolbars and icons at the top blanked out. Also, if he's running two instances of excel, there is only one showing in task manager processes.

I've tried deleting the folder and files in c:documents and settings\user\application data\microsoft\excel, but to no avail.

Repair of office next you think?

 

Can you explain further? Compatability with what?

Specifically, what files? Why do this?

Maybe, either that or uninstall and reinstall.
