i just got back from the pub, just thought i would keep everyone here at MG in the loop :-D

 

Posting while intoxicated is not illegal, but is almost as dangerous as driving while intoxicated. LOL

I've never tried to post while drunk. Sounds like an interesting concept.
I tend to be very verbose when I'm plastered.
The problem is when I drink, I like a cig, so think I'll lay off the pop a while longer until I'm certain I've jacked the fags for good. (British terminology, Laura.)

Pretty good. Bad news - had a cig over the weekend. Good news - it was foul. Put it out after two or three drags.
But drinking may tempt me into enjoying a fag (British terminology.)
Don't want to chance it.
Could be easier than I thought.

There's a setting in Gmail where you aren't allowed to send an email until you've answered five questions. You can also block email from being sent between certain times. They call it "Mail Goggles". roflmao

That's never worked for me. I start the hangover whether or not I'm inebriated. My wife, on the other hand, can drink like a camel but never gets a hangover, and she's half my size. Life isn't overflowing with fairness at the Geek Haus.

 

After a split long ago, I rented some of my bedrooms to my daughters friends and a woman I knew (I thought) who split up also and was going to a motel, I said, "stay here, lots of room".
She was drunk for two weeks, apparently a problem she had I did not know of.
Honestly, she never touched down completely for two weeks. Even went in my neighbors house,in the middle of the night, helped herself to a beer from his fridge, when mine was gone, sat there finished it then came back to my place. He wouldn't have known if I didn't tell him.
He was a nice guy, bit of a drinker himself so didn't mind. Heck yeah, drunk woman in the house, she was a looker too, score. :-D
