I recently purchased a Lenovo 3000 H Series and I want to change the language settings to spanish. Ive been looking half way across the internet for it and I cannot find it. This computer will be sent to my cousin in Central America (El Salvador) and he is not able to read or understand ANY english whatsoever. I knew there was a way to do the language setting but as far as I can see, there no way I can do that. I need your help ASAP. Id appreciate it veery much!

    Thank you in advanced.

look at the control panel for clock/region/language settings...you might have to run windows update to get the spanish language.

I did go there and none of that comes up in Vista Home Premium but I was reading online that ONLY Windows Vista Enterprise and Windows Vista Ultimate supported this feature but I kept on digging online and found a way to add Spanish setting to the computer. Thanks for your help.

There is something about free extra Microsoft support for new Windoes OS'es and new Microsoft costumers. It's written on their site somewhere but I can't find it...

From what I read and looked on Windows Update site... it only supports Windows XP Tablet PC, Windows Enterprise and Windows Ultimate.

Lots of people are complaining about this issue with Vista Home Premium. To tell you the truth its pretty frustrating not finding what you need.

Shouldn't you be installing a Spanish MUI pack instead?

This isn't just about support for the language pack. It's about extra support for new costumers. You just bought that Lenovo, right? And a new Operation System, namely Vista Premium. Microsoft offers extra support for new costumers.

Contact them again. Perhaps it works for Vista Premium as well as for Windows XP Tablec PC even though it's not written on the site.

I talked to them for over 30 minutes and that's all the information they were able to give me. I tried downloading the MUI and it gave me this error message when trying to open it.

Call Lenovo's support or ask in their forums?
