Apparently my (old) computer melted.

    Just moved thread to lounge as folk will get a laugh out of this and be able to add their own funny pics on temps etc, lounge more lighthearted :)


    Yes in the past I have seen some weird temps on PCs mainly due to the sensors not being picked up in the apps correctly, in the second one the temp of -115c neat you'd be able to overclock the living daylights out of that!

    That thing was pretty awful at times. The video card drivers, a crummy integrated card, the drivers kept dying on me, or Windows Update would replace the working Omega drivers with broken ones. I had to use the Omega ones as the default ATI Catalyst ones (ATI Radeon Xpress) were extremely unstable. They were sorta outdated.

    And it had a horribly noisy Maxtor drive. And the USB ports were sorta broken. And the case was this cheap-o plastic one and the front kept falling off. :-D

    Wow, 246ºC! That is a bit warm to be near something -11º. :-D

    246ºC = 474ºF You can cook with that 'puter!

    I hate the inconsistencies of software temperature monitors.
