if you saw the cbs report on conflicker you saw a screen that had a global monitor on it, does anyone know if there is a link to view this? we have a link to view a global pic, latest signatures, and some other things but the website is hosted in the UK. if the one that symantec displayed is not something the public can look does anyone know of a link they can share?

no it was not an eye chart. tomorrow when i get to work i will post the website that we look at. most people are suprised they have never heard about it but most really wish someone in the states would make one.

you will need to watch the cbs show, you can find it on cnet, symantec, cbs... you will see the monitor i am talking about in the first 2 minutes. looks like they are in a symantec command center.

    Hi

Not sure on Symantec having a global map, also dont get CBS so didnt see what they produced, but like many companies they produce specific maps for stories and also could be an internal map to the spread of malware, which they likely wont have for public viewing.

However some other AV companies have malware maps

Might be Opera or your link, but when I take Opera to that site, Opera gets shut down and has to be restarted.

Issue maybe that that site has an unsigned add-on that even baulks IE8 from installing it, sadly I dont use unsigned ActiveX so wont be using that suggestion unfortunatly. Does work ok in an alpha version of Opera 10 I'm using but only limited as the unsigned addons are an issue, so creators of that site need to address this if they wish to have visitors.
