Guess they never clicked the update link that the application will throw up when a new version is released and you click UPDATE, or even bothered to click the Author: Javacool Software on the Majorgeeks page, although the download is the same one we host. TBH if they had stood back and posted on the forum in a calm mannor this would have been resoved easily as sadly many get into the internet age but sadly dont really understand it, not their fault in the majority of the cases, but lack of education and then in some cases maybe like this stuborness and a feeling of blame everyone else.



Really do think its time for me to give the internet a miss, its full of kooks and loons!

 

I hear ya, there is talk about no more being anonymous on the net, I am for it. I would have this epic jerk arrested for making a threaty on my life. I sure wish his dad had pulled out.

I "Tried" the 1st link under your FL site, and it came up with SPYCOOL or some such, which I then downloaded, FOR FREE, (LONG, SLOW PROGRAM) and did a scan.... It "Found" quite a few 'minor' items,.....BUT... YOU HAD TO ....BUY... THE SOFTWARE... TO "DELETE" THESE ITEMS, AND MAKE A ...WORKABLE...PROGRAM...

NOT FREE SOFTWARE...!

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT ...TOO...MANY...TIMES....!

I REALIZE YOU PEOPLE ARE IN AN intensely competitive MARKET, but:

GOOD SOFTWARE...SHOULD GET BETTER BY:

1) MORE PORWERUL/CAPABLE.

2) Cheaper than previous versions.

3) Easier... repeat..... easier to use...! (MOST IMPORTANT !)

Glen, My friend, your clicking an advertisement. On the landing page for the download you will see that it says -= advertisement =- noting an ad underneath. I can see where you got frustrated, however consider we do this 7 days a week. We dont take vacations or holidays so we need some advertising. I think you will notice we even added the "-=" and red letters so you dont click the ad if you don't need to. If you notice, it also says at the top "your download of SpywareBlaster will automatically start in a few seconds" followed by a large button that says "click here if it does not". We also added that button to replace text so people would see it. In all honesty, you were rushing when you went to download and kept clicking an ad, never reading a word on the page. Slow down, it will keep you out of trouble my friend. Good luck and I do hope you understand what were doing and visit us again in the future!

Yes, I usually am not that kind. I believed I removed many words like "idiot" and others I can not repeat here. But, Jim has taught me over the years that it gets you nowhere, whereas I can educate someone and make a friend. Like many infected people, he is clicking without reading, rushing around, hence he is repeatdly clicking an advertisement on the download page.

 

Got to remember!....google is my friend. LOL

Jumps from Javacool and Spywareblaster to Microsoft, boy someones got their man vegatables in a twist with their y-fronts today.

If not user friendly than MAC or XP, W2K, then have to wonder why user is still using Hotmail and not a yahoo email account or MAC et al, we have choices.

Windows is getting easier to use, especially if my mom and 7 and 9yr old neices can use Vista with no issues, hey they can even surf and BuildaBear with no issues.

If it in previous versions lost an email, is that not same as going into limbo?!

As for Tab key in Hotmail, did try it (yes I have no life, but a massive work project to complete that this distracted me from) and pressing tab only moved the cursor from say the to line to the subject line to the email message box and then you can click to your little fingers content and it does nothing and email is still ready to send.


I know user is frustrated and in part my comments are in jest and light hearted but they are blaming others for "their" lack of understanding and lashing out, opposed to letting us help them understand more.





*typing style is way way too familiar in that email.
