That's got to be a spoof. Someone's late on the April fool's.

 

I suppose it could happen,maybe he breathed in a mini UV flash light also and a small growbag.

 

roflmao !!! Too true, I mentioned the April Fools somewhere but perhaps not here. We have a daily science TV show and they had a botanist on who said it was impossible unless it was mutant fir trees invading our lungs! :-D

first of all light-not all vegetation needs it

then water-there's enough moisture in the lungs

and certain temperature-blood runs warm (in some people):-D

I'm not saying that it's a true story,But, with the way things are evolving in this world today and what man has done to the earth anything is possible. I worked with plants and I've seen them grow in the most unusual spots. Even in the dark.They don't look like a normal plant because they didn't grow in their normal habitat.
They probably felt left out and needed some attention:-D

 

You may very well be right I've just done some more poking and the story appears on most of the major news sites,if the story is falsified I think at least we can say it was falsified by an actual surgion and/or patient.

I'm 80% the story being true ATM a surgeon did remove something from a man's lung,whether it was an actual fir tree is another matter.

 

No way a tree could grow in someones lungs

mold or something yea, but a TREE? the roots would hurt like a mother****er

 

What bugs me most about the growth that the pic shows is that it is green and that means chlorophyll which means exposure to light. Just an example, you've all had potatoes sprout I'm sure. (The single guys have especially long ones :-D) They do not get green but stay white but expose them to light and they turn green and start leaves. I'm no botanist, just a backyard gardener.

 

That's the conclusion I came to it would be yellow/white,if its green then it must be fake.
