trojan attacked my messenger!!! SOS

Hi hi
Some days ago I connected my usb that I use for school to my computer and Norton detected C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-2401756686-3210367125-502031567-8909\hd1.exe
was infected with the Trojan Horse virus. I quarantined and deleted it.
Since then every time I open my live messenger it appears a message: "Windows Live Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I already made a scan using the programs that are said here: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=139313 but it doesn't work.
Please HELP!!!!! :cry
