Well I've had them. Dishwashing, gas station attendant/clerk, etc.

Ideally I would like to work two 16 hour shifts a week and be done with it.

You know whats funny. Economy sucks and jobs are gone around here. But something I always new was lawn mowing was good. Now if you set up some places to mow and people like it.. word spreads to friends/companys. Anyways people pay all sorts of stuff - but for example say you get 25 bucks (small amount) for smaller yard. You mow that on weekends 4 times a month = 100 bucks. Now that take 45 minute max. Now think about if you have a few yards to mow.. I remember mowing few company places which was just the sidewalk edges and paid 50 bucks! So that x 4 = 200 bucks a month.. so thats 2 small azz yards for 300 bucks so far. So mowing is good thing and if you did it during the week it can be alot better then normal jobs.. anyways sad thing is nothing for future for when you get older.. Another thing is you can take deals and do a contract on cemetarys.. and mow them on weekends. They provide the truck, riders, gas etc.. and you get paid A LOT. our small one I made 800 dollars week.

Ah. See, I don't look at those as weekend jobs. I look at those as actual jobs that you can choose to only do on weekends if you'd like.

A 16-hour shift is not something you're typically going to find in a part-time, minimum-wage job. I do them all the time in my work, but it's mostly not common what with overtime laws, etc.

Hey, there's a thought. Where are you? If you're at all familiar with theatre and/or concerts (not attending, but being backstage), there's more than likely a Local located there of the stagehands' union I work for. That's a lot of weekend work. :-D

maybe, I do a lot of business refurbishing laptops. I make a good bit off that.

I'd like to find creative ways to make passive income, where I can focus on my other goals in life.

right now I am working on getting a board house to cut me some basic short pci 1x boards with holes cut for 80mm fans to blow over video cards. I have one I built myself for my rig to blow air up into the intake on the video card to keep it really cool, thought it might be a good idea if it went bigger.

Well, if you want to check out working backstage, let me know. It totally depends on your location what the wages are, but around here we make anywhere from $12 to $16 per hour depending on venue. Most shows are on weekends, and especially when working concerts it doesn't require a lot of thinking if you can handle basic direction. :-D
