aaarrrrgh! Can't uninstal McAfee!

My sister just gave me this computer with Windows XP and McAfee Security Center. I'd like to uninstall the McAfee, but naturally I cannot do it the standard way.

I've downloaded the "MCPR" uninstaller program from McAfee, but that won't work either.

I've read something about going to c: program files/mcafee.com/agent/app, I don't have that. The chain breaks after agent.

Oh yeah, and I checked out the "free download" of Perfect Uninstaller. A scam...the download is free, but using the program requires you to pay for it. If I wasn't poor due to the Depression, I wouldn't be on a used computer.

Anyone?

 

Try running MCPR.exe in safe mode..

have yo try http://http://www.revouninstaller.com/ ,run it and delete manually McAfee folder.If it can't be deleted try http://http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
