Sometimes i worry about humans. Sometimes I fear that the stupidity and sheer lack of common sense in any given person will be the end to us all. We don't know what a person is capable of until they do something stupid and put other people in danger. This lady fled a hit and run and lead police on a high speed chase because she was afraid to lose her dog? Really?:highfive

It appears so Steve, at every turn - STUPIDITY.

Do you think the cops drew straws for the honor?

Paper, scissors, rock most likely. Drawing straws would take too long. Though she was laying on the ground for an extra little few seconds there before someone came up and cuffed her. Who knows

Is gobbledegook your mother tongue then, Steve? :-D

Unfortunately, this level of stupidity is very common. Half cut half wits who think they can outrun a fleet of police cars on a motorway. It beggars belief. What are these people thinking? The dog probably has more sense.

I will say, with no real disrespect intended towards anyone, that I first heard this quote somewhat paraphrased in the sci-fi film, "The Imposter." And both [the film and the quote] fast became favorites of mine. I mean, honestly, sometimes it can be scary out there when learning what some people are up to. Hence, I don't watch or listen to the news daily any more - too frustrating. :banghead ....Especially since I can trust, without fail it seems, that any of my e-mail homepages or radio programs will alert me if anything crazy going on somewhere - near or far....
