Windows Vista and "you need permission to perform this action"

Hi, does anyone know if theres a way around this, apart from adding "take ownership" to the right click context menu. I am the administrator of the computer so was a lil but unsure why.

i have run into ths a lilbit when installing sertin programs on my computer as well now that i have upgraded to vista ultimate. and i havent found a way past this either,i thought that was one of the pesky security things every one complains about,so i just do the right click and take owner ship then every thing works fine but i would also like to know if their is a bypass to this some how.:confused im going to do some reschrch and if i find any thing ill let u know:major

 

This is normal in windows vista and there is no way round it it will come up twice when installing software and when you run the program it might tell you that you need to run this program as a administrator but once you set this as a administrator it will only pop up the once to say are you sure you want to run this program.

Sorry, there is no other way round that either

you can turn off the prompts by turning off user access control (UAC)
