Lotro Players?

Anybody here play LOTRO with an Nvidia GTX 280 Sli setup?
Most areas in the game I can run Ultra High video settings. In the new areas of Lothlorien I can't see a thing because it's all blurry. The only fix is to turn settings to low. I complained to Turbine about it and they say they can't duplicate the problem. Yet one of my online buddies has the same setup and problem.
Any ideas?

 

I played Lotro for a long time; and while I can't comment on your exact setup, I can tell you I experienced serious issues in Moria with a GT 8600 that were eventually sorted out a few game updates later.

Turbine seem unable to confirm a problem unless it is frequently mentioned on their forums, but they do aim at fixing those they hear about.

They sorted the 'cloaks' issue on AH yet?

 

I agree. Turbine does indeed work on problems they are aware of. While LOTRO doesn't natively support SLI they sent me a work around that didn't take a rocket scientist to install. The image quality went way up and I'm once again a happy camper.

...still want to know if they fixed the AH 'cloaks' problem tho...been a while since I was able to afford the sub and as one of the first to point it out to a mod there it would be cool to know if it'd been fixed.

Can't ask my kin, they'd just scream about me not being on...or do something stupid like have a whip-round for my sub fee

 

Jon, can you elaborate the Ah cloaks problem and I'll check for you.

It's that the 'cloaks' tab didn't work on Lotro AH...you had to bypass it by typing the word into the selection choice.

Happened around the Lorian update...every other clickable tab on AH worked fine...would have been bad otherwise.

As it is, it wasn't fixed 2 mths ago...and I'd think cloak-makers should have kicked up enough fuss by now.

 

Ok Jon, I checked. There are cloaks listed under light armor and it can be searched. I happened to spot a real good one so I know it works. A friend went along and says cloaks only rarely show up under medium and are even rarer under heavy armor.
