My Yahoo page, which I love per all the news links and whatever I want, lately switched to ASK.com for search. Ask cannot find it's own socks! How to I avoid Ask to come up and search instead of Google?

Hello amolari, why not add a google search bar to your browser? Comes in handy for quick searches... ;) You can add a google toolbar, and then it will ask you what cool stuff you'd like on it, and a search bar is one. ;)

    Hi

If Yahoo homepage has added ASK which I find weird as Yahoo is a search engine itself, so wouldnt have thought they will use another companies search engine, but what browser do you use as you can change your default search engine in IE7/8 and Firefox, to google etc without the need for a toolbar, its built in and fairly easy to change, I actually use Clusty as its much better than google.

Could you post a screenshot of the page where ask.com is the default search engine in Yahoo page?

Have you by accident installed a Ask.com Toolbar?

Thank You for your prompt answer. No I don't have an Ask Toolbar, and I just find out that if a search from the Yahoo search bar, Ask does not come up, it is only when I search from the address bar that does. Usually I step into Google and search from there, it is only a secondary nuisance. I am testing Clusty now wich I did not know.
Also may I bother you for another question, this page, Yahoo, is my preferred set up because has all the newspapers links, before it remembered my name and password, now it doesn't and I have to enter it every time. It bothers me because I did this before, but don't remember how, anymore......

When you log into Yahoo, isn't there a box below your reg. box, that asks you how long you would like to stay logged in? Or, there may be a box you need to click that says, "remember me" and just don't log out... It should remember you, unless you delete cookies...
