Alright so by now, I've done everything to my ability to try and get this USB Connector to work, but it still won't work. The wifi will get up to the testing connection stage and say it can't find an IP address. This has occurred with the firewall off and I have allowed firewall access regardless. I am using a Belkin Wireless router and it's default gateway is 192.168.2.1 which. Can anyone help me?

what are the properties of the connectoer? do you have th tcp/ip set to dhcp? what channel is it set to?

the tcp/ip are set to DHCP, it is on Channel 2, the device has auto-obtain IP and DNS address automatically. Another thing is when I activate the Nintendo wi-fi registration tool and the device goes on, I lose internet and the problem states it's due to multiple Local Area Connections.

A nintendo wifi usb device is meant to turn your PC into a wireless access point for the DS, etc. If you have wireless (your belkin wireless router)you can connect to it directly, you dont need the USB dongle. I have my Wii & DSi hooked up to my wireless Linksys. The DS & Wii both have wireless built in and have a wireless setup, where they will find your Belkin Wireless SSID and ask if you want to join.

The Nintendo wifi is not used to connect to a wireless router, it is a wireless router, per say.

Yes, but the problem is that most DS games require a Wi-fi connection that is protected by WEP, and mine is WPA. Also, when I changed my security to WEP the Nintendo Wi-fi ran into a whole bunch of error codes which were fixed up until error code 2100 which stumped me because every other device I have running on the network including the Wii did not make this much of a hassle.

Alright well on the higher side of the news, I changed my wi-fi router to 64 bit WEP (Because for some reason 128-bit didn't work) and I have wi-fi on all network devices including the DS now. On the lower and darker side of news, I'm using a 64 bit WEP encryption now.

I have not used the usb dongle, but does it require you to bridge it with your NIC maybe?
What device are you connecting to the USB fob that your reading "no ip"?

Just curious, we may still be able to fix the whole deal yet.
