graphics card unable to work

my motherboard is k7s6a graphics card is nvidia geforce4 mx 440.
i go into hardware it shows graphics not loaded code 10.
i uninstall software and reinstall works until i turn off computer
then it shows the card is not installed.
put new graphics in it do`s the same.

Are the cards you mentioned both AGP cards? If you motherboard is version K7S6A(V1.0A), you could download and install the SiS AGP VxD Driver. I can't guarantee that will eliminate the problem but I don't believe there's any harm in doing it. Your system - again, if version V1.0A of the K7S6A - should already have that driver installed anyway. Perhaps a reinstallation will solve the problem.

how can u tell if it is a agp graphics cards

 

AGP slots are normally a dark maroon color. PCI slots are normally white. See the image on the right of this web page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerated_Graphics_Port

u dont know the battery number for K7S6A - ECS Elitegroup
