Mobilize prayer warriors.......

.......for two people. Firstly, my wife's dad who has cancer in the lung, spine and possibly the brain. He has been very recently diagnosed and is in hospital today to give biopsies to determine the type of cancer he has and the treatment strategy. He is normally in pretty good health, so this comes as a real shock.
Secondly, a friend of bigtrucks. Mary (bigtrucks) was visiting her best friend on Monday evening. Mary was about to leave when her friend collapsed and started having convulsions and muscle spasms. Thank God Mary was there as she called an ambulance and her friend was admitted to hospital with a suspected heart attack and mini stroke. Her family were informed and Mary spent all day in the hospital. Mary sends apologies as she may not be on for a short while.
Prayers and best wishes to both for a speedy and happy outcome.

Thanks, guys. The wife and I appreciate the great response. I'm sure bt will be along soon to add her thanks. Brian (father in law) went to give the biopsy samples yesterday. All went fine and as he was expecting to stay in hospital for a couple of nights, but got out yesterday evening, it couldn't have really gone any better. Results next Thursday.

 

That sounds quite possitive, JOTS... We will keep our Prayer warriors :strong on duty until we get the all clear.. You can count on that.

Thank You so much everyone for the positive thoughts and prayers.Doris (my best friend) had a heart attack and when she fell the doctors feel that is when she had a stroke. She is in intensive care but is stable. She can't open her eyes on request, nor can she speak clearly unless she is really angry(and boy have they been making her angry)They have her sedated as she has wrestless leg syndrome and something wrong with her feet(it's a condition and I don't know the name)When she wakes up and the meds wear off she starts thrashing around and they are afraid she will pull some hoses or IV's out.The doctors haven't been able to do the MRA because of her thrashing when they try to lie her flat on her back,which is another problem she has.They can't sedate her too much for fear she would have another attack or stroke and they wouldn't know it until it was too late.Other wise she is doing better now than when we brought her to the hospital.I'll keep you up dated. and again Thank You and her family says Thank You also.

Thanks TC Yes it was went through the seizure part not too long ago with my sweety. Same symptoms except he didn't have the muscle spasm like she did. What was really scary was I was trying to keep her aware of us and her daughter was really freaking out I thought I was going to have 2 on my hands.But I no sooner got her calmed and was TRYING to here what the 911 operator was asking and telling and the son in law started yelling and telling me not to do this and that. The operator heard him and asked if she could speak to him, I just handed him the phone and he started telling her that his mother in law would choke and I have no idea what she said but he stopped talking for a minute and then handed me the phone back. When the paramedics got there both her daughter and son in law started talking at the same time.I stepped outside and let the pros handle the rest. They did a great job.

 

Oh, BT!!! That does sound worse than I thought!!! I can just imagine the mess!!! Hey, those 911 operators are worth their weight in gold.... They handle emergencies every day..... I am sure she gave him an earfull rolleyes Also, they should be thanking you, instead of screaming and yelling.. (Like, is that really going to solve anything?)
