Ya, I agree on the farce part Tony for the unscrupulous folks. I haven't played in twenty years and though I remember the name Ruy Lopez, I no longer have an idea of what or any other opening entails as I've forgotten most of it, maybe there's still a few general principles left in the brain.rolleyes

Used to do book learning and several tournaments back in the day. The only way I can see this as one against one is in a lightning round which would put me in a apoplectic state very fast!:-D Heck, I can't even beat MS's rudimentary chess offering at beginners!:-D One stupid mistake after another though I do have an excuse ATM, it's the libation man!:drink

EDIT: Real chess players wouldn't ever dream of using a program except to learn with. *sigh*
