How to delete a file in Windows directory?

    Hi there,

    My OS is Vista. Could anyone please tell me how to delete a file in the Windows directory? Thanks a lot.

    Sorry imnabcd, could you be more specific, like what is your goal or what problem are you trying to fix "windows directory" is very generic sounding.

    Thanks for your reply. I want to completely get rid of an unwanted programme I installed. I have already uninstalled it through the Windows Control Panel; now I want to delete the three .ini files still left in my directory. How could I do it? Thanks a lot.
