HP 5m laser printer no colors in 11x17

Hi folks,
I have a HP 5m color Laser-jet printer which works great, gives me nice color print, as long i print just Letters. Since i print often 11x17 drawings, i would love if the printer would print with colors, but no luck there.
Here some additional information, even if i print a letter on a 11x17 there will be no color, same letter on 8.5x11 paper will be with colors.
My question, is there a parameter within the 5M printer which i have to change so that it prints 11x17 with colors?

Sounds like a strange printer issue. I suppose you have already tired to update the drivers etc?

 

The same behavior i see when i use any PC on my wireless network, so i'm not quite sure if printer driver is the problem.

 

I wouldn't think drivers are an issue. It's a strange issue an you probably should contact HP and ask.
