New twist Old scam

receive your funds is to open an ON-LINE/DOMICILIARY BANK ACCOUNT with our
corresponding bank here in Nigeria which is Zenith Bank Plc. This
online account
will enable you transfer this funds yourself.

Is that not great?All we need is your full name, contact address, company's
name,occupation, telephone and fax numbers with a scanned copy of your
identity.
Provide a valid phone number for we shall call you.

We await your response as soon as possible.

I just fired off an e-mail to the genuine bank in Nigeria with a copy of this.

 

They'll probably just shut this one down, and tomorrow a new one will go out from some other scam artist. The country seems full of them.

 

The sad part about that is that someone, somewhere WILL fall for that line of :*** Gensuknives, I believe is right, they will shutdown that scam, but will be right back with another one just as devious, if not more so.

 

It never stops, one is born every minute.

 

It never ceases to amaze me, just how gullible people can be about this sort of thing. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Of course, in Bernie Madoff's case, it was pure and simple greed that sucked all those rich folks in. And boy, did they pay for it.

 

Never fails to amaze me how many people fall for that scam.

 

I watched some things about this kind of stuff they had on this specific business over there. And they litterally got little buildings with phones all around the outside walls.. and people from there calling (like its a real job) calling people doing scams at there moment. And they said that some are like that email, and some are the ones where they say and call a US person saying they need an american to send american money over and they send back more.. or they say to the american to buy this and that and they will send the checks.. and some americans fall for it rolleyes Another thing is they said that they cut many of these scams down each year... but theres just so many and they make new ones daily.

My condolences Darlene:-D Is there any low to which these 'people' won't stoop to to steal? I guess by saying that he is an American would make it all more believable somehow. From what I gather, they can't find any relatives of this person, so they want you to pose as a relative? Did I get that right? Or am I missing something?

 

I love they way he says he is an attorney at law and he is prepare to share it with you.

Wow, these are really wild! What will be next? Oh, Darlene, that is just awful! I think that is a new all time low myself... roflmao I highly doubt if you would get anything, sounds more like they want your identity..

Same with you BILLMCC66..... How LOW can :*** they go? I do think I have heard it all now... From "remit your funds to you immediately" to " seek your consent to present you as the next of kin Of the deceased " Yeah, that is a new all time LOW for sure! :***

 

I can't recall where, but i remember hearing that: 1 in 10,000,000 success rate is considered good for things like this

 

Ya, costs them basically nothing. They can even drive around finding unsecured wi-fi routers to send their crap.

 

While clearing out the Spam folder came across another, think even I could do better rolleyes
