Brocken specter

    My friend was walking in the Cairngorms as he walked from the mountain mist he turned and saw his reflection as a Brocken Spectre. He described it as a halo of light like a rainbow around his body. I’d never heard of it before and looked it up it’s a bit scary :eek

    Was it one of those weird mirrors that distort the image ? I used to see those out west... . That is enough to drive someone to drinking.. LOL!

    What is there to wonder about? Isn't a "Brocken Spectre" a mirror? :confused I have seen some weird mirrors :-D

    OK Tony, I did some research, and now I know why you are wondering about me! :-D Seems like it is a natural occurrence tho... I had originally thought you were talking about a mirror! LOL
