cant open jpg file

i must have screwd something up again, i try to open a jpg file of a log slitter and when it opens i get some kind of code writing. what did i mess up? i use to be able to open them.. Thanks

 

Is this the only file that does this? If so, it's a bad file.
If it opens in a different application than a picture viewer/editor/browser then the file extension has been wrongly assigned, which sometimes happens with installing/uninstalling programs. You can look in Folder Options to re-assign the extension. (From a folder's menu.)

 

It seems like it happend after i down loaded the adobe reader 9.1. it worked before.. i can open pictures from my picture file. but when im on a web page such as this i open a file and i get like mixed up letters and words..thanks

 

some web sites i can open jpg files but not others. di i need to adjust something? thanks
