    Hi

What Windows version are you using? if a beta or RC version of Windows 7 then this did show up on some users PCs, with no driver available, is fixed in release version.

Also what brand of PC and have you had to repair or re-install Windows? if HP then this KB covers that happening with HPs

Also download and install the latest Chipset driver for your PC or Motherboard.

im using 7. it's from school and is supposed to be a release version. it's a build. msi motherboard. i was the one that was asking why after the bios flash it showed a 2.93 cpu at 3.66. it detected that i had the latest drivers when i used the utility from msi. what could this prevent? like it being like that? what am i missing out on with it like that? coprocessor for what?

    Hi

Looks as if MSI dont have updated drivers for all hardware on that motherboard yet, only the Audio is listing for Windows 7 at present, while Vista drivers work well in Windows 7 they are not perfect always.

Just to ask you using 32bit or 64bit Windows 7? as Nvidia have Windows 7 drivers for the nForce 6301/7100 motherboard which you have HERE (just need to choose from the top box down ~ nForce > nForce 6 Series > nForce 6301/GeForce7100 > Driver > ENTER your Windows version next and click Search)

Hopefully this dedicated Windows 7 driver will resolve this co-processor unknown, but as your motherboard comes with onboard graphics and you have added a 9500GT then this is likely the issue with coprocessor, the two GPU drivers are conflicting slightly, so check BIOS and make sure onboard GFX is disabled and PCI/PCI-E is enabled.

Also make sure you have the Windows 7 GeForce driver for your version Windows (32bit or 64bit) and they are found HERE

*the MSI tool may only download whats on MSIs database of drivers and not the latest ones for this new Windows version*

that did it. thanks man. but i still don't understand what it was preventing? also, i noticed i had eidt (or whatever its called, the cpu limiter) enabled in the bios. i started up with 3 pages open and the "high temp" is 43c. is this too hot? like i said i had it somehow set to 3.66 after a bios flash. i had some crashes and i brought it down to 3.3. those are my readings now after is disabled the limitation deal. i just don't want to kill my cpu. im thinking under 60 and im good, right? its staying around 31c now with just these 4 pages open.

    oh yeah, thanks again.

basically as far as the coprocessor is concerned: what is it exactly in my situation?
