about 3 months after I got my Hp laptop, I closed it down one day after my son used it and windows wouldn't come back up. I restored it according to directions that came with it. And still, Everytime i turned it on, it would say i had to restore it. I let it set for about 4 months and have not touched it. The other night, i decided to try again.

I did a system recovery and ran disk check....it did all kinds of stuff like deleting and repairing and replacing files and bad clusters. It seemed to be better, so to make sure things were going good, i decided to run the majorgeeks programs to remove and bugs etc.

A window is still popping up that says Windows detected a hard disk problem, to back up files immediately and contact manufacturer to determine if i need to repair or replace the disk.

How can the disk be damaged? I am attaching the logs, just in case they may help you tell me what is going on.

    Thanks
    CJ
