During the cleaning process I was unable to run The Rootrepeal and hope that these logs are complete to resolve my high CPU issue. Thanks in advance. My

I am not seeing any malware in your logs. However, I do not know if this could be related to your cpu issue:
    Code:
    C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\"
    sn-reb~1.job Nov 10 2009 212 "SN-Reboot.job
    ssh-tu~1.job Nov 10 2009 222 "SSH-Tunnel-Hourly.job
You should clean out your temp files, esp. these:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\temp\IMT19.xml
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\temp\IMT1A.xml
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\temp\IMT1B.xml

And you should also consider doubling your RAM:
    Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB
    Available Physical Memory 135.71 MB

I suggest that you post in the software forum to further inquire about your issue.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. They are useful as backup scanners. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore ato create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thanks a lot, I'm relieved. on the combofix removal a window popped up saying that i might have a virus and need to install new combofix. also the system restore setting was corrected and hijackthis removal had already taken place.

That's not good. Please download a new copy of ComboFix and attach the new log. There is the possibility that you have some system files corrupted.

It has been a few weeks since your last reply. Please download the latest version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one if you havent already removed it. Run it and attach the new C:\MGLogs.zip

You are good.....though you need to run CCleaner and then make sure this folder is empty:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\temp\

You can now do the final cleanup steps I gave you previously. :)

I may have to go to the other forums on majorgeeks as I am unable to get past "windows is starting up" unless you have any suggestions I can fix in safemode.

I managed to get it started but fear it will again bypass the login screen and get hungup. I will try this unless you can suggest anything I can do while its running before I restart.

Do not restart it....just get me as many logs as you can without doing a restart....specifically I need the log from running the C:\MGTools.exe ---> C:\MGLogs.zip

I am not seeing any malware in your logs. But you need to put ComboFix directly on your desktop so that the below final clean up will work.

    You currently have it here:
    c:\documents and settings\Administrator\My Documents\Downloads\ComboFix.exe

You should double the amount of RAM you have.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    5. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
