Best enterprise antivirus software prevention

I'm looking for a good enterprise antivirus software (about 800 users). We're currently using McAfee 8.7 and we may as well be using nothing. I usually end up using malwarebytes or combofix to get rid of malware, but I want something that will work well for preventative measures. I'd especially like something that's good with preventing and handling rootkits.

 

I strongly suggest you take a look at Sunbelt's Vipre, been running their Enterprise version at home (for testing) I am VERY impressed so far

I just bought 85 licenses for my network(s). I'm really impressed with the product:

• really lightweight
• fast scans
• easily configurable
• no junk on uninstall
• did I mention fast?
• catches a TON of stuff

And that's just the client side. The Enterprise rollout is WAY too easy. They even provide tools to remove other AV products. Personally, Vipre replaced Symantec 10.2 Corp, and it was a beast to remove. I ended up writing my own scripts and running batches on each of my subnets, but that's just me.

So far Vipre has performed like a champ for me. The Enterprise configuration is a bit hairy to set up, as far as understanding the different options, but the learning curve flattens out pretty quickly. Remember that this is an engine built from scratch, so a lot of the options and so forth are going to be new, and will require a little more thought than Symantec's default "set it and forget it" that worked in 30% of scenarios.
