What is everything I need to build a computer?

 

Motherboard
Power Supply
RAM
CPU
Hard Drive
Video Card if you want one. Some motherbaords come with them onboard but they aren't very good.
Optical Drive
Case
Sound card if you want one. Motherboards have onboard sound.
Operating System

What you going to use this pc for?

Yeh as long as you get a decent cpu you should be fine. You buidling from scratch or components you already have?
